Iran launches 6 missile strikes on US military base

The American military base was subjected to 6 strikes from Iran.
A few hours ago, 6 missile strikes were carried out on the territory of the American military base located in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor. As it became known, short-range missiles were used for strikes (their type was not disclosed - ed. note). At the same time, as stated, the US military facility received serious damage.
According to the Syrian news outlet North Press Agency, an American military base located in the province of Deir ez-Zor was attacked by Iranian forces and pro-Iranian militias. At the same time, it is noted that the strikes were delivered from a fairly large distance, however, pro-Iranian units carried out missile guidance. This does not rule out the possibility that guided missiles may have been used.
“Today, Sunday, pro-Iranian militias bombed the military base of the international coalition forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces militia in the eastern part of Deir ez-Zor,” Ain Al-Furat reports. The source said that the shelling was carried out by 6 short-range missiles that were fired from the Al Mayadeen region towards the Al Omar oil field, which houses the base of the international coalition led by the United States.- reports the North Press Agency.
At the moment, the command of the US military grouping in Syria does not comment on the attack, as a result of which it has not yet been possible to establish the real scale of the attack.

Dutch fishermen protest with port blockade

Frustrated by their government’s failure to act on the issues facing the fishing industry, notably the sky-high cost of fuel that threatens the viability of many businesses, fishermen are blockading Dutch ports.
Fishermen’s organisation EMK is adamant that emergency relief is needed for the Dutch fishing industry.
Protests are taking place in IJmuiden, Harlingen and other ports, and the entry to the port of Lauwerszoog was blocked last night by fishing vessels.
‘If there isn’t concrete support soon, Dutch fishing will be heading for extinction. First it’s the farmers, and we are next in line. The government used to take care of food security, but not any more,’ said Robin Dekker, skipper of Eurocutter SL-23.
‘In the short term, the government must simply do what France and Germany are doing – provide fishing with fuel compensation. Europe can do that, so why is minister Staghouwer still hesitating? Does he also want to put us out of business, just like the farmers?’
High fuel prices are just one of the challenges facing Dutch fisheries, as the rapid construction of wind farms is taking away fishing grounds, while the construction work and cable-laying, plus additional marine traffic to and from construction areas, is seen as the long-term threat to the industry – while fuel is the immediate challenge.
‘What we need most for the long term is stability, with a clear, stable fisheries policy. No new surprises from Brussels or The Hague. That needs to start with a promise that there will be enough fishing space left for fishermen,’ he said.
‘At some point somewhere, will someone step on the brakes and come up with a solution? Fuel-efficient pulse technology, which we used to fish with, would have saved us from these high fuel prices. Just turn that light to green. After all the misery of the past few years, it’s time for the fishing got something back for all its efforts and hard work.’

Dutch and German farmers have blockaded a refugee centre in Ter Apel to protest the government’s nitrogen policy that will bankrupt businesses and force farmers to sell their land.
While it’s been reported on social media that the blockade was at a distribution centre, those on the ground have confirmed to TCS that the protest happened at a refugee centre for asylum seekers, with protesters saying that they know what the government wants to do once they’re forced sell their land: build new apartments to house more immigrants.

According to new guidelines expected to come into force on Monday, foreigners in Israel will be required to inform the Defense Ministry if their romantic relationship with a resident of the West Bank is getting serious – including plans to live together, get engaged or marry – in order to receive or extend an entry permit. The restrictions do not apply to those visiting Israeli settlements.

Crockery brand Blond Amsterdam missed the mark with a collection of items plastered with Anne Frank’s face in an effort to make a “positive reminder of Dutch scenes and heroes.”
What could be more Dutch than windmills, cheese, clogs, and… Anne Frank?
Blond Amsterdam decided the image of the young heroine was appropriate to decorate a new collection of crockery, and people are not happy about it, reports the NOS.
Aron Vrieler of the Israel Information and Documentation Center (CIDI), says they were “dumbfounded” by the company’s choice of illustration. Blond Amsterdam was told to “remove those cups from the shelves”.

In recent years, such attacks have become a common sight online, as corporate media and uni-party politicians continue to push a blood libel against white people.

Netherlands – Extreme right-wing text projected on Hemweg power station: ‘Make White Babies’

Amsterdam – A video was shared on Telegram of a text projected on the Hemweg power station in the Western Docklands in Amsterdam last Tuesday. It read “Love and make white babies” and “RIP Dresden” for several minutes.
‘RIP Dresden’ refers to the bombing of Dresden in the night of 13 to 14 February 1945 by the Allies, in which tens of thousands of Germans died. In extreme right-wing circles, the bombing is seen as a war crime. The police are aware of the video and are investigating the projection.
Vattenfall, the owner of the Hemweg power station, says it will still check the authenticity of the video and ’emphatically distance itself from this disgraceful message that is linked online to our power station’. “We have informed the police about this and will check extra ourselves that this does not happen again. If it was projected, it looks like it was done from the highway, so from a place outside our terrain.”
Last Friday, a video was also published on Telegram showing images of a projection on the Anne Frank House: ‘Anne Frank inventor of the ballpoint pen’ was projected on the evening of Monday 6 February with a laser on the modern part of the Anne Frank House.
Earlier, a right-wing extremist group projected texts on the Erasmus Bridge during New Year’s Eve. It then read ‘White Lives Matter’ and ‘Vrolijk Blank 2023’. A reference to an anti-Semitic site was also projected, as well as the Fourteen words , a short text that has an important status in neo-Nazi circles and means: ‘We must ensure the existence of our people and a future for white children.’

Hundreds of far-Right activists led by 'Hitler-lookalike' stage demonstration against asylum seeker hotels in Lincolnshire weeks after riots in Merseyside
Hundreds of far-Right protesters led by a 'Hitler-lookalike' have staged a demonstration against hotels housing asylum seekers in Lincolnshire - just weeks after riots broke out in Merseyside.
A major protest was held in Skegness, Lincolnshire, this afternoon, with protesters holding up anti-refugee banners and placards saying 'enough is enough' and 'stop the invasion we will not be replaced'.
The event was organised by far-Right group Patriotic Alternative (PA), whose members are opposed to a government initiative to house up to 500 asylum seekers and refugees in hotels while their applications are being processed.
Former soldier and 'Hilter-lookalike' Alek Yerbury, an active member of the group and poster boy for British Neo-Nazis, was present at the protest.
The organisation describes itself as a 'community building and activism group' which 'teams up with local residents' and seeks to bolster 'white pride'.
The group was founded in 2019 by Mark Collett, a Neo-Nazi who calls for a 'racially pure white society' and led the BNP's youth wing before the party expelled him. It now claims to have more than 15,000 members.

Authorities in European countries are continuously receiving a large number of refugees that have recently reached EU countries.
In addition, it was reported that in September last year, a total of 98,000 requests for asylum were submitted in the European Union countries as well as those in the EU, Norway, and Switzerland.
Recently, authorities in the Netherlands announced that they are struggling to accommodate all asylum seekers. In addition, they stressed that two thousand additional asylum reception places are needed in this country before April 1 in order to keep the situation under control.
These conclusions were reached during a consultation between the State’s Secretary, Eric van der Burg, and 25 mayors of the Security Council.
“Actually, about 60,000 permanent places for asylum seekers are needed in the Netherlands. But structural shelter has not yet been arranged. It is, therefore, clear that emergency shelter is still unavoidable,” Hubert Bruls, Council Chairman, stressed.
Switzerland also is dealing with an influx of migrants who are attempting to cross the country’s borders in an unlawful way, which led the German Police Union to call for tighter border controls in Switzerland.
